Default Converting a 36 v. resister cart to a controller?

Looking to convert this early 90s. series cart to 48v , wondering if a Alltrax AXE 4834 would work?
Also I know I will need a 48v. Solenoid and mat need to change throttle to a potentiometer or ITS and program for which one is used.
I believe the potentiometer would be the easiest to install on this cart?
Thank, if any other recommendations ?

ScottyB sells the entire kit. It comes with full and precise directions.

Why spend alot of time trying to figure out what you need, when he has already did all that. Can't beat his price.

Theres some good prices on used ones and I don't know if carts is worth spending alot on.
So 200.00 vs. 700.00=500.00
This is why I ask, iam sure all I'll need is a potentiometer for throttle.

Yes about 200 without solenoid.
Just need to find out if that all I need.
I've been playing with this resistor cart for a while, 1st. cart I've had.
Not sure about the conversion, but I'll figure it.
Ive purchased solenoid s from scotty but went back to 36.v because it keep burning up solenoid.
Scotty is on vacation.

Worth- schmorth. Unless you are flipping the cart what difference does it make what it is worth? If you are going to use it, enjoy it, keep it for a long time, and maybe mod it more later, what price do you put on that? I'm taking a very solid but old '81 and putting basically, everything new underneath. When I'm done I'll put it up against any new cart out there for strength, reliability, ability to WORK, [very important] and still be cool! Got about 4 grand in the upgrades [Canadian] and hope this cart will still be doing it's part on the farm 20 years from now. Priceless.

Just for reference I converted a '99 36V resistor cart to a solid state drive system and 48V using Scottyb's kit and couldn't be happier. No guessing on connections because EVERYTHING is there to help you with the install, including Scotty by email pretty much 7 days a week. Good luck to you.

Yes, that's pretty much what iam doing but this one is a 1992 ish I believe. I thought they stopped making resister cart in 1994?.
The price iam getting this controller is hard to refuse (in process of buying right now)
It's way under 200.00
Iam pretty good at fabricating things up.
I was trying to make sure this AXE 300 amp. With a couple other things would work.
If I had the extra $$ I woukd certainly buy scotty s kit but with the holidays and all its tuff right now and at that price iam gona take my chances and learn the process and headaches. LoL
