Default Re: drive train on 90's club car electric

Frosty, I must be out of the loop. Your friend says his manual says 32oz. Yet you put in a qt. (32oz) and still can't feel the oil in the Rear end!! I put 22oz in my 96CC electric & it's ready to run out. Morrison says his manual calls for 22oz. I find these helpers on this format have been around the shop a few times, so I go with them. I would also suggest you get an opinion from Morrison, Rusty, Lockman or any other of the gray beards about "filing the burrs" off the gears. Worn gears will cause the whine but why not bite the bullet and replace them?? Good Luck
