2007 ds iq?
Have located a 2007 DS IQ at a local cart seller. I just moved into a golf car friendly community. I do not plan to lift or to do other mods other than possibly a set of nicer wheels. I will be happy with 20 mph. 95% of use will be 2 people. This cart has the "factory high speed motor" installed. Otherwise totally stock. Not sure whether 4/12 volt or 6/8 volt. Just using it to cruise neighborhood and one mile trip to store.Big question is: is this 2007 DS IQ. A good choice for my use? Always paved flat roads, no hills at all. Is 20 mph reasonable with the "high speed" motor?

Re: 2007 ds iq?
My neighbor bought an 06 DS IQ stock about 6 months ago and he uses it around the neighborhood. It's stock except he put nicer 10 inch wheels with street tires. His cart has the 4/12 battery pack and he is very pleased with it. I converted my older DS regen to an IQ cart and it was the best investment. If I was buying today it would be a DS IQ. My $0.02

Hunter,
Thanks for your response. That is good to hear about the IQ carts. That is the idea that I had from my reading here. Unless I hear some negatives about it, I will pursue this cart. Wish me luck.... |

Best of luck, don't be shy if you have a Club Car question before or after buying. These guys on this forum have a wealth of knowledge and are so helpful.

You can't go wrong with a DS IQ. Go ahead and get it. You'll be glad you did.

Re: 2007 ds iq?
Thanks guys. Has 2 year old Trojans, high speed motor, full sunbrella rain enclosure. Was privately owned since new and kept in a garage. Has good tires and new brakes. He is asking $2450 which seems right for my area in Florida. See if I can make it happen. All I need to add is a rear seat.

Re: 2007 ds iq?
Post a picture or some details about the "Factory high speed motor". Club Car never offered a high speed "motor" for the IQ system. The IQ controller is programmable for high speed, but they only offered a standard motor.
