Controller with speed code 4

I have just purchased an alltrax xct48500 for my 2011 CC precedent. The current factory controller has a factory speed code 4 installed. When I remove the factory controller will the speed code 4 work in the next cart it gets installed into? I have the factory supplied code numbers.

Hi 2016ctd I hope u don't mind me posting here, I got my speed codes
A 043 B 026 C 136 I am not sure yet to know if that is speed code 1,2,3 or 4
I am asking and reading about speed codes when I finish here. I hope it all works out

I believe that is the factory code to unlock the controller. I have a similar code for mine. I am not sure which code yours is set for.

Each controller has a unique set of three 3-digit codes that is based on the controller serial number and it only works on that controller.

Speed codes 1-3 can be directly selected by default using an IQDM programmer, but it takes the 3 unlock codes to allow Speed code 4 to be selected.

Sergio is correct. It's like a combination lock. Every lock has a different combination. The numbers on the sticker are for your controller and your controller ONLY.

I'm looking at a Curtis programmer 1313-4413 that is an oem level programmer..Will this programmer allow you to set any speed code...

You will be able to re-enter your Speed code 4 code, if you already have one. But, if you don't have the code, you will still need to purchase the code from Club Car. Also, there aren't enough settings to change on the stock Curtis controller to make that programmer a worthwhile buy.

David or Sergio can tell you whether you can buy the code from CC and install yourself with the programmer or if it must be done by CC. If you should choose to upgrade the stock controller to a Curtis 1268 400A then there are 60 or so settings that can be changed with the programmer.
