Default New and need direction.

I've wanted to buy a cart for a while and finally bought a project. Everything is there but I wanna upgrade and give it the "hills package". The vin starts with a81. I know that tells me electric 1981. Now that's all I know I don't know voltage and can't find it but I assume 36. I've looked on sites and it's hard to find things for this year for upgrade. I know nothing and don't know what I'm really looking at. Any advice would be great. Thanks

Get in touch with David at Revolution Golf Cars (BGW sponsor) he will let you know what you have and your best options to make your cart into a hill climber. Best decision I have made with my cart.

An 81? Post some pics of the diff and steering box. If it is the same as the one I am finishing, you have a, pick one or more of the following, project/challenge/labor of love/pursuit. I would go over the frame carefully to check for cracks, broken welds and corrosion first.

thr battery's are gone. So I have no idea. I been trying to upload pics but can't. Frame is aluminum and in great shape. The steering works fine and everything seems to be there.

Cool. Steering box tight? Now, what do you want it to do, or, what are you aiming for performance wise?

Yea. Didn't feel much play. I'm looking for something I can go in the woods with. Nothing extreme. Just get to where I'm goin. Nothing like a bad boy buggie. I somewhat understand the parts but I can't find nothing for this year performance wise and don't really know about interchangeable parts.
