Default Info and Value on Precedent before I decide to Buy or not

Have a friend with a 2007 precedent for sale. Batteries will need replacing soon.
Here is the text he sent me about the cart

"2007 ClubCar Precedent. Lifted.**Reprogrammed to go faster. Needs a little TLC, needs tires.**Batteries are approx 3-4 years old I think and work ok . It was outside for a bit and needs a wash and some Armoral... like that stuff you see on the side is just a drink the kids spilled.**Pulls left..maybe tires, maybe front end tweak.**Seems to wear-out the front tires more quickly than I think it should - maybe just my daughter's driving.**I think I've had it about 6 years and have about $4500 in it."

He says 2k but I'm thinking I can get him to $1750 or so. Needs batteries, tires, and TLC.

My only reason to purchase would be to flip and add profits to my G22.

I know it's an 07 with the dreaded 4 , 12v batteries.

What's some opinions on value and what it's worth. Thanks in advance.

I'd say in that condition $2k is a good deal. Even if it needs batteries.
Around here (Cincinnati) that's a $3,300 cart as it sits.

A golf cart is worth what the next guy will pay... if you invest in batteries you should be able to get $3000....

I went an drove the cart today. Tires are completely bald like drag tires! Lol.
I ended up buying it for $1500. The seller is actually is an electrical engineer that I know and a little OCD, so he religiously put distilled water in the batteries. It runs and drives good.

I think I will put a used set of tires on it, give it a bath, a little tlc, then list it for around $3300 and go from there!
