Default few questions

Hey, I have been looking for a descent used cart for my dad for a couple years and I just won a '97 electric CC from a local online auction.

I am going to pick it up tomorrow, and I plan on keeping it for a little while to make sure it runs/works well before I send it off to my dad. I was just wondering what are some things I should do maintenance wise when I first get it home?

Is there a page that shows grease zirks and the such? what routine maintenance is for one of these buggies? Once I get the cart I will have more questions I am sure. Thanks,

Brew

Default Re: few questions

Welcome,
First and most important, get a service manual for it. 2nd, Batteries are the life of this cart, Have them professionally tested to see where you stand, 11 yr old cart doubt they are original but never know or just past there service limit. Hope not due to the replacement cost. Battery cable condition is the 2nd most important item that needs regular maintenance. You might have a couple of zirk fittings up front to check and rear diff oil.

thanks, I have my fingers crossed on the batteries. When I looked at it, they looked virtually new. They are napa brand, and there was no corrosion or anything on the clamps. I am GUESSING they are about a year or two old. But looks can be deceiving.
