Default Looking to buy 1998 DS

I'm looking at a 98 DS with tow/ run switch, 48 volt. They were told speed control needs replacing. Any idea what that means? My 2003 48v has an mcor, that I had to replace, not familiar with this older unit.

speed control on a 98 would be a resistor v-glide

The f/r switch is a toggle type like my 2003, does that still mean it's a v- glide?Us it an expensive part for me to change?

I'm confused, I not seen a cart with tow/run switch and toggle F/R switch have a v glide..
Everyone I've seen has an mcor. But then again I've not seen it all
To me, the mcor would be the speed controller, but they could be meaning controller?
How much are they asking? Is it in good shape, other than that?

MCOR was introduced in 01

Dave Hicks (TahoeDawgZ71) @ revolution golf cars sells the Multi-Step Potentiometer (v-glide) for 48v or he can sell you a conversion kit to make it a MOCR cart

http://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/mcors

but frist you need to see if it is bad or if you have other problems

I read this differently. I see speed controls by curtis and alltrax.
You guys are showing peddle position indicators.
A Regen 1 or 2 needing a speed control is needing a conversion to IQ drive IMHO and a NEW speed controller
