Differences between Model Years
I am looking at buying a Club Car Precedent golf cart and wondering if anyone can tell me the differences between the 2009 and 2012 model years.
Thanks |

Re: Differences between Model Years
They're basically identical except for the throttle switch. The 2009 was equipped with a TPS that was later recalled by Club Car and was supposed to have been changed out to an MCOR2. However, some of them didn't get changed. The TPS did not have an internal "safety" micro-switch and any failure of the throttle control within the TPS could result in a runaway cart. If you're going to look at a 2009, don't worry. It can easily be converted to an MCOR4 if it has a TPS on it.
