Default Club car precedent Acceleration problem

I have a 2008 club car precedent. When you push down on the Accelerator you will hear the solenoid click but it will not move. When you hit the accelerator again sometimes it will not move in the solonod will click and then after that it will start to go and perform correctly. Is this normal?

It sounds like a short in the electric motor. Not sure I'm understanding your post correctly or not, but does the solenoid click every time you hit the pedal? Is there an instance where the solenoid clicks but the car won't run? If so, hold your foot down on the pedal and have a friend give the cart a push. See if it starts to move. If so, you've got a burnt or damaged spot on the armature of the motor or bad brushes in the motor. Doubt it's brushes. I've never seen bad brushes on an AMD motor, which is what your 08 Precedent should have in it.

Installed an MCOR 4 ,

The solenoid does click all the time the pedal is hit. If I depress the pedal a couple of times it starts to move. Funny part is after I get moving its fine if I stop. Only acts up if it sits for awhile.

I was thinking that too. Is there a test for it?

Ok. Still sounds like a possible motor issue. Trying what i suggested and see if it makes the cart start to run.
