Default Club car vs ezgo

Hi

How much faster is an 2014 Ezgo the a cc Prec 2010? Going up a steep incline
it passed me like l was standing still.

I thought both had 19.6 max speeds

Thanks

That depends on a lot of factors.
How much charge is in batts.
Age of batts
Tire size
Speed magnet
Different HP motors

Could be a lot of things...

May have been a ezgo with an A C drive system. The can be set to go in the 30's stock.
They don't slow down on hill very much.

Is the ac drive an option or standard?

2010 cc Prec 6x8 volt stock tires

I am very frustrated because l have 3 cart shops within cart range that l can get to and after speaking to them it left me very concerned to let them touch my cart.

What l might need;

Front alignment

Tires and wheels

Alltrex Xct 300 amp

Maybe batteries

The prices were all different and each shop pushed different batteries if needed
and we're not sure if l would need something besides just the Alltrex.

Trying to find a way to get my cart to David neat Augusta. There is no sense to talk to David unless l can get it there. I am approx 2 hrs from him by car. Also
if l need batteries l might have to skip performance

Believe me l will try my best to find a way. I would hate to borrow a pickup and rent a trailer because l never trailered anything. Plus l would have to trailer it back.

Also what would happen if the cart had to go back to correct something?

The only thing that could be a problem is the Alltrex everything else is cut and dry.

In my community the guys look for the cheapest prices and buy on the Internet
Except the Alltrex and alignment

Sounds like you have been fed a line of Catfish Bait by your local cart guys.
My question is, have you been satisfied with your carts performance?
Don't worry about some guy outrunning you up a hill. You can throw enough money at anything and make it outrun the next guy.

Front alignment, even if it's out, it won't affect speed that much plus you can do it yourself easily.

Tires & wheels, Bigger tires take more HP in my limited thinking so even if you do increase the diameter, you may not accomplish much...

Controller, Yes that will increase speed but is it worth it to you? I may upgrade mine to a larger controller just for kicks in the future.

Batteries, you should know the condition of your batteries and don't buy a new set if your pack is good...

For what it's worth, I got over 1mph speed increase on my carts by adding a lift and bigger tires alone. But there are all kinds of ways to increase the speed and efficiency of carts. Many of them documented on this site. There will always be someone else faster.

I am going to take a look at my front end tomorrow to see if there is anything obvious wrong. The only thing that l remember is about a year after picking my cart up was a bolt in the front that looked like it was almost unscrewed and just tightened it.

My front tire is wearing out faster then the others and that is why l thought alignment.

That could be part of it.

What I learned on this forum is to keep the toe in on the minimum side of the specs. 1/8" for a Precedent.

Does you car currently have the private code from CC at 19.6 MPH?
