It has been 5 hrs off the charger, l will wait another 5 hrs and then again in the am.

I will be meeting with the local cart shop tomorrow at 10am est to go over prices
on the following

Alignment (toe in)
Wheels and tires going from 8 to 10 " low profile
If l need batteries that will be it for now. He only sells interstate, l prefer Trojan 875's

Quote on Alltrax Xct 300 or Xct 400.

That is it so far.

Thanks

^ I'd be leery of a golf cart shop that only sold one brand of battery (and a lesser brand at that)

Just sayin'

Tomorrow after l sit down with them l will have a better idea, so l will listen.

I am not looking for the cheapest price on one hand but on the other hand l do not want to get hosed. They get $70 hrs for labor which is fair if they know what they are going.
But l will not overpay on tires and wheels and labor to install the Alltrax Xct 300 amp plus the cost of the Alltrax.

My front alignment (toe in) needs correction.

Any comments? Should l wait with the battery charger not connected for awhile
to see what happens ?

Thanks
10 hours after disconnecting battery charger l checked a couple of the batteries and these are the results. Tomorrow am l will recheck all of them.

8:51==8:48

8:50==8:47

Those are good number. It means the batteries can Take a charge, the bad news is, you could still have a bad battery, one that doesn't Hold a charge, that would cause a distance issue.

Alignment on a precedent is about 5-10 minutes.

5-10 minutes, that's funny.

18+ Hours and volt drop only .01 on all batteries

Example same battery all batteries same reduction

8.50 full charge

8.47 10 hours after disconnect

8.46 19 hours after

Any thoughts

Thanks

Kingman,

You should probably give David Hicks at Revolution Golf Cars a call. His shop is also in Georgia and he's a site sponsor.

Just like most other site sponsors here, very honest guys and willing to help.

He'll shoot you straight, and not try and make a mint on you like your local shops seem to be trying to do...
