Default Ain't gonna look like a fool!

Several weeks ago I got my turn signals, horn and brake lights hooked up on my Precedent. Everything is working great. Saturday morning the dog and I were riding around. I signaled to make a left turn and proceeded. About 1/2 mile down the road I realized I had forgotten to cancel the turn signal. I may be an old fool but I ain't gonna look like one so I came home and wired an extra reverse buzzer I had to the flasher. Now I have an audible signal they are on. It was a little too loud so I partially covered it with electrical tape. Now nobody knows I'm an old fool but the dog.

I've got rear vision mirrors with indicator lights in them. I can see when the indicators are on.

This is a safety issue should someone pull out in front of you or passes you because they think you are turning.

Here is a plug and play solution that I tested thanks to Sergio referencing it in one of his posts.

I will also add that this flasher is obnoxiously LOUD out of the box and will drive most folks crazy. It resembled the back up alarm we often hear on commercial vehicles. I was able to tone it down to a reasonable level with some electrical tape covering the sound opening.

Very cool, I might have to do this before I put any miles on the Precedent with the new signal lights installed.

U used to leave them on while riding my 77 Goldwing what I did was put led indicators on the windshield. I am adding the neutral light, oil light, and high beam light there too!
