Default 20" or 22" wheels

I'm planning on putting a lift on my 02 CC DS. I was thinking of going with a 3" lift. I've read that 22" will fit then some say they won't. Most manufacturers state 20" inch is the largest to go. Most of my use will be at campgrounds so I don't need to go to high due to small children riding along. I'm trying to do my homework before I buy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can give you one example, I have a 2006 DS with a factory installed 3" lift kit.

I have 12" wheels with 23" Sahara Classic all terrain tires on it. No clearance issues at all.

I hope you are talking about 20 or 22 inch tires and not wheels...

23"s with a 3"? Dang. I have a 3" Jakes Spindle, with a 1" block up front. Only have 20"s on it, but been contemplating 22"s, just worried about rubbing

Maybe the Jakes Spindle lift does not extend the wheelbase like the Club Car 3" lift does?

Does anyone know the body height difference between a 6" lift and 3" lift? I am I was hoping to buy as a combo so everything matches but in a 22" tire almost very sells with 6" lift.

I just measured my 2006 DS, with 3.5" factory lift, and 23" Sahara classic tires the rocker panel trim piece is 13" off the ground.

That's about where I want to be. How did you find a factory lift?

They're readily available. You've just gotta know where to buy them from. Any Club Car dealer or certain site sponsors can help you with this......

fcsarebel,
I think Dave at Revolution can get you hooked up with the CC lift.

I am not sure of the cost, because mine is at least 7 maybe 8 years old.
