Default Windshield scratches removed

Hi guys, I just picked up my 1st buggy today...a PQ05-09 model will be used mainly on the golf course.

Anyway I got stuck into cleaning it up.....I had some stainless steel cleaner that the cook didn't like the smell of. I had used it before on an alloy bullbar and it worked a treat. Today I used it on a scratch on the polycarbonate body and was amazed at the ease of removal and lustre that it left. All the little blemishes are gone....if you concentrate on a small area you can actually remove good sized scatches....there is elbow grease required, there is a fair amount of wax type filler in it and it takes some rubbing with a clean soft rag to polish off. It removed all the heel scuff marks on the bottom corners easy peasy.

My discovery didn't end there...the windshield has a pocket for corporate day tags glued to the inside...the area where they slid the name logos down into the pocket was quite scratched, some with ring scaring from womens diamonds ripping into the I had nothing to lose hitting it with this stainless steel cleaner....I polished 98% of the deep ring scratches and the rest is great. Very little of that opaque looking foogy feeling left...just about all clear.

Now the bad news for you guys it is an Australian product called..Ezy Bright Metal Cleaner and Polish, made for S/Steel sinks, taps, cookware, stove tops, ovens, BBQs, chrome appliances, furniture, alluminium, bakeware, brass and copper. NO harsh chemicals.

Anyway, I just had to share this one, I'm just so happy the way it has cleaned and polished the body and the windshield is A1

Thanks for the tip I have been using 2 stainless cleaners here stateside on the BBQ. One is from a Co called Zep and the other is a Simple Green product. I haven't tried them on plastic but, I will. For plastic windshields and scratched eyeplasses I use a plastic polish from Plexis. It works good too. I found it on ebay .....
