Different brands of batteries
I have read and been told that Trojan batteries at the best you can get, but at $120each they should be!! I was at Rural King and they have their brand (I believe them to be exide batteries) and the 6V are only $65 + core. I have seen. Anyone have any suggestions about these batteries? Cart is on a farm=40acres.
Thank's, Chuck |

Re: Different brands of batteries
Are you sure they are GOLF CART batteries? Sounds pretty cheap.

Yes they are golf cart batteries, they had regular deep cycle batteries and then there was 6 and 8 volt golf cart batteries.

Re: Different brands of batteries
At $65 sounds good. That's about $120 a set cheaper than the lowest prices around here. I know nothing about the quality of the cart batteries but exide makes good car batteries.

Re: Different brands of batteries
Looks like the batteries you are looking at have 110 ah rating
Trojans on the other hand (T105's) have an ah rating of 115 The Trojan's weigh 3 lbs more each...that is presumably 3 lb more lead, which is a good thing. Your call of course, but around here Trojan's and Crown's seem to be the best reviewed. |
