Default Motor will not slide!

Hello, can anyone tel me any tricks to getting a corroded spline to separate. I'm swapping out my bad motor for a D&D replacement. figured id ask before getting a bigger hammer. Any advice is welcome. Thanks

Found a weep hole at the bottom were the motor hits the gear case . just the rite place to hit the g spot with pb. and also used the same spot to pry gently.

Did you get it off?

If not, remove the entire rear axle and tap it on the ground (on a piece of wood) with the motor pointing down. Watch your toes

After dissecting every part off the motor I got it. I used a large grinder to put heat into the armature . The motor is bad so I just cut into it checking the temp near the spline . when it got hot to the touch , I used a small pry bar and it moved. thank god!. not as easy as the youtube video shows, lol. Thanks gents!
