2001 ds
Customer said it's taking up space in her garage, batteries are dead and she's interested in selling it. Going to look at it this afternoon, but I'm not sure it's worth picking up.
All I know is what is attached below. Worth my time at all? |

Re: 2001 ds
Obviously depending on condition and price it would be worth buying.

Re: 2001 ds
Depends on how much she wants. If it's in good shape and only needs batteries it would definitely be worth it depending on asking price. My '01 DS runs great. Took me awhile to find mine as there weren't many DS models in my area. Plenty of Precendents but I prefer the look of the DS....

Re: 2001 ds
I'm thinking I could get it for $500. She said she bought it to use in a neighborhood parade and then it just sat ever since. I just want to make sure it's worth putting money into....lift, radio, etc.

Re: 2001 ds
I've only had EZGO's, so that's why I'm not sure what to look for or expect from a CC

2001 ds
If it's in good shape (have to go look to know) $500 would be worth it to me. The only difficult part is with dead batteries hard to know if everything else works... Most end up upgrading wires motor and controller anyhow so again $500 for a DS in good shape would be a great platform to build off of to me...
As far as what I'd look for, does it roll freely, brakes work, steering works and then just visual checks on condition of frame and body. |

Re: 2001 ds
I'm supposed to go there in about 3-3.5hrs to check it out. I'm hoping it's a 48v, but doubt it is.
Sold my 36v TXT because I didn't want to put any more money into it to make it go faster than 16mph |

Re: 2001 ds
If it's speed you're after then you have to keep in mind that stock carts will need to be upgraded. If the frame, body, suspension and rear end are in decent shape then it would be a great platform to start with at that price.
Oh, per the SN provided the cart is a 2000 model. Last edited by Hunter450; 04-21-2017 at 12:18 PM.. Reason: added to message |

Re: 2001 ds
Well I've got a 2007 EZGO ST 2+2 (gas) that I'm still waiting to take ownership of from a customer of ours, big company with lots of red tape....figure this might help scratch the itch for the time being
