Battery acid or Distilled water?
Just wondering really. 6 quarts cost $13 at the parts store, I've always used this in lieu of dw.

Re: Battery acid or Distilled water?
What do the engineers at your battery manufacturer recommend adding to their product?

I'm pretty sure speed code 4 is a standard option at <20 mph.

Re: Battery acid or Distilled water?
Adding Acid would probably reduce charging time.
Adding water, it floats on top, takes a while to mix in & acidify Not like you add enough to bring the SOC up much. On the next charge cycle after filling, You'd save a little on electricity after you add acid instead of water Wonder if you'd mess with a CC OBC. |

Re: Battery acid or Distilled water?
Hmm. Haven't thought about that. But doesn't the obc already assume the mixture is 100 percent?

Re: Battery acid or Distilled water?
Distilled water is 95 cents a gallon, it is a lot safer to work with. Sulfuric acid is a mix of distilled water and battery acid you change the ratio. And it just ant normal.
