Default charger problem

charger not charging!!!! (pro drive 2 charger)
charger didnt work prior to the things i did below

installed brand new batteries (around 50 volts)
full 2ga kit from scotty with stud kit
reset computer
checked all fuses
circuit breaker on charger good
got 50 volts across top to wires on charger relay

when i jumped the two wires (bottom of relay on charger) together (to bypass OBC) on charger its charging at 15 amp for about 10 sec then falls to zero, then jumps back to 15 amps then back to zero, over and over!!!

do i need a new charger or do i have another problem????
thanks!!!!

I have a 48v 50watt save a battery charger maintainer to use also
but I know I need the cart charger to use aslo thanks!!!

Default Re: charger problem

With OBC (charger relay) bypassed

Could be a loose/dirty connection
As it charges, it generates heat & that causes a connection
to fail
Check/clean cart & charger connections
