Default Paint the canopy

I am looking to paint the canopy on my 07 Precedent. It is currently beige and I will be going to black. I was planning on using the Krylon Fusion spray cans. Any tips or things I should look out for?

There are some pretty good tutorials on here about painting plastic and tops... Its all about prep work.

I chose to use a BEDLINER Material on mine. I will say, the RUSTOLEUM SPRAY ON BED LINER in a can is AWESOME however I used HERCULINER and it seems very solid! Still, clean, sand, clean, sand, clean (dawn, acetone or xylene) and use Adhesion Promoter. I did use a Duplicolor Vinyl Spray on the underside that seems to be holding up too!

Good Luck!

I wound up doing the Krylon Fusion paint with some prep work and then coated that with the plastidip. It turned out ok I think.
