Default Did conversion - no go after taking foot off the pedal!?

'92 DS CC converted over with C42 package from ScottyB.
Alltrac SR48400. Also installed the converter. Finally lowered it to the ground to take it for a test run. Runs fine until you take your foot off the pedal. The minute you stop it will not run again. Have to turn key off then back on and then it will go again. Noticing when it will not run that the voltage meter goes way down and my 12v readout on my usb accessory goes to a crazy reading. Something amiss but not sure what?

You will probably need to put it on jack stands and open the motor hatch to see it but the altrax has a light on it that will give you a blink code if the controller has encountered a problem or will not light at all if the controller is not getting voltage when you re-press the pedal.

When on the stands it works fine!? edit: I did have it failing on the stands too. Checked the light on the controller. When it goes dead, the light turns green for an instant when you depress the pedal. But no go, and no solenoid click. I did notice that when on stands, at high speed that green light turns orange at max speed!?

LED on the control turns orange (+ or - orange) at full pedal, that is correct for all The Alltrax controllers. When the solenoid clicks the LED should flash once to indicate 0-5k throttle and then go solid green, this single then solid green turning to orange at full pedal indicates the control is programmed correctly and working.

Check your source for the solenoid activation.... where does that + come from originally? It should come from battery pack main + to keyswitch, to F&R micro-switch(ms), to potentiometer (pot) ms, to solenoid small + and control F1 red. This pathway here is what you should concentrate on troubleshooting.

Thanks Scotty. My light is not staying on solid green on the controller. It does flash on Green one time when pedal is pressed but then light goes out even when running. Switches on again to orange when at full throttle. Is that normal? It is not staying on solid green while pedal is depressed and going.

Light stays solid green when working but just clicks on once when not working. Disregard what I said about not staying solid when running. It does stay solid. I wired to switch from solenoid per f&d diagram not from battery. Is that incorrect?

The solenoid end of the main B+ battery cable is electrically the same as the other end of the cable at battery main B+

Are you sure the throttle lever is coming all the way up when you let off the gas.
Did you put the throttle rod extension on?
If the pot is not going to zero position that could cause a high pedal disable HPD situation until you turn the controller off or the pedal comes to zero.

Problem solved.
The 36v+ key source was not coming from the right place. I switched it to the battery main+ and now it works like a charm. My bad. I "almost" had it wired like in your diagram. Was on the wrong side of the big solenoid.

Gotcha
I didn't know that could be done
Resistor allowed enough voltage to engage the solenoid 1 time.
