48 volt DS Just clicks won't move
Hello everyone, I am having a hard time figuring out what is going on with this cart. I have solenoid click but no movement. For some reason this cart does not have a run/ tow switch, so when you hook up the battery you get a big ark. Where does the wires come from so I can put a switch back on it??? Any ideas where to check for why the cart is not running though???

Re: 48 volt DS Just clicks won't move
I'm not an expert just a guy who has done a lot of work on my own DS. A series cart does not have a run/row switch. If you post the ser. # of your cart found under dash on passenger side we will know exactly which model and year you have.
When you disconnect pack voltage you should disconnect both main negative and positive. When you reconnect, do positive first then negative. I had a similar problem as you are having in my cart. Turned out to be a motor controller on mine. I had an altrax controller which has a light to indicate that it has powered on. In my case by monitoring this light I could see that the controller was not powering on (no light when peddle pushed). I checked that I had voltage to the pin that powered the controller on when peddle pushed. I don't know what controller you have but hope this helps. Remember to post your ser. # so when one of the experts chimes in they will know exactly what cart you have. |
