Club car with humdinger convertion

It's on a 2000 club car ,the controller is a Curtis non programable
550 amp ,in forward it works fine but in reverse it goes to full throttle ,,is there a solution

First guess is that the wire for the half speed resistor or the micro switch is broken. Is this 36v. or 48v.?

Check you micro switch. On top of your fnr switch. I'm hoping this is a series cart if so The rear most micro switch is the half speed make sure it's working properly.
