Roof supports
I have friends with different year carts and it seems that club car changed the roof support design every year. Mine seem to be the worst for the rear seat passengers. Can I use the supports from other years on my cart? If not I will be adding some pipe insulation for padding.

Re: Roof supports
brownchristian,
Looks to me like you have the MadJax folding rear seat. Probably the expensive model 300 that is Aluminum and composite construction and came with it's own brand new rear roof supports. And has the handy dandy fold up footstep. I have that setup on mine, and it just doesn't work for Adults in the back seat. There was another post with the same issues earlier this week. I haven't seen any solution yet, and I am thinking the only solution would be to go with the long top. Which I don't want to do, as I don't like the look. And the back seat doesn't get used very often. Aflyer |

Re: Roof supports
That looks like a Doubletake max 5 rear flip seat. Finish it off with a Doubletake 80" top.

That is what causes the problem, and would warrant the extended roof, as you suggest. Aflyer |

Re: Roof supports
Thanks guys. I am not partial to extended roofs so for now I am going to pass. Will add some padding in the meantime

Re: Roof supports
Thats my current solution as well.
I have also been thinking about reupholstering the seat with a more dense but thinner cushion. We will see, as I said earlier the back seat doesn't get used much. Aflyer |
