Admiral Motor has a WHINE

I purchased an Admiral A4 motor for my 48volt DS less than a year ago and really haven't used the cart much due to other things I'm doing to the cart. However , this past weekend I got to spend some time on the cart and noticed a whine coming from the motor when accelerating. I think I was more sensitive to it since I was hunting and the woods were quiet. I don't think anything is wrong but I know Admiral motors are not US made. Anyone running Admiral or other aftermarket motors experience a whine sound?
