Default Anyone fit 4-12v in a 6-8v ds setup?

Ok so it seems this is a crazy idea but I just picked up a 99 DS on CL and the batteries are basically shot. I have a Precedent with a 4-12v setup in which the batts are decent but I would like to get new ones for that. So I want to put those existing 4-12v in the DS and buy new batts for the Precedent. I stripped down the DS and it looks like the V-glide switch is going to interfere with the placement of 1 of the batteries. So has anyone accomplished this feat and if so any pics or hints on the relocation would be much appreciated.

I did this exact thing with my 06 Carryall.
Took the 4/12's out of my Precedent and rigged them up into the Carryall where they still reside today.

Here's are my build threads.
Post # shows my placement, although I think that is where your V Glide is...my 06 is an MCOR machine.

thanks for the link Kash. My case is similar the only obstacles I have are the v-glide which forces me to pull the one center battery farther back to the rear and the body on the DS doesn't give me as much height from where the rear of the two center batts would sit. I'm goin to try and modify the cross brace a bit to give me just enough clearance.

Convert to MCOR 4!

Of course I would hope you would do what I plan on doing and replace the 4/12's with 6/8's when the time comes...
