Regen 1 dynamic solenoid bypass

Can the regen 1 dynamic solenoid be bypassed and speed sensor unplugged just like the regen 2? I've done the regen 2 before, but not the 1. The cart is sluggish on takeoff, and the dynamic coil get very hot.

That part of the system is the same as regen 2. Yes.

Thank you! I thought so, but hadn't never done it on the 1 and wanted to make sure.
