Club car precedent battery indicator
Hi there! We are the proud parents of a 2010 club car precedent (and new to golf cart world) we swapped out the dummy light for the battery with a club car battery indicator but the light doesn't go off with the key. Do we need to add wiring for this? If so what gauge and how? Thanks in advance for any/all help!

Re: Club car precedent battery indicator
Just run the supply from your key switch so it only gets voltage when your key is on. Use a volt meter or tester to determine which side of the key is hot when on.

Re: Club car precedent battery indicator
I am not sure what the 2010 Precedent wiring is like.
I have a 2013, and I left the little warning light in place and added a digital gauge in the dash as well. My car had a pair of wires in the dash already, that you can use to power your ne gauge. You can use the negative from the spare wire set in the dash. And as NoleFan4Ever, said you can use the positive from the Key Switch. I think it is the blue one. Aflyer |
