Club Car LSV = Need More Speed!
Hey Everyone...new to the form
Recently built a 2017 Club Car Villager LSV All Black Jakes Long Travel 6" kit, front bumper with some LED lights I'll add a pic.... So she tops out around 25MPH. What would it take to get me into the low 30s? |

Hit up David Hicks - Revolution Golf Cars or scottyb - Carts Unlimited and they will hook you up with controllers, motors, solenoids, or anything else you desire and your pocket can afford. They are listed on the Site Sponsors link above.
A new controller will really release the beast and accompany that with cables and maybe a solenoid and go from there..... |

Re: Club Car LSV = Need More Speed!
Nice ride sir. I haven't seen an LSV since 2009, so I'm not sure what has changed in relation to the powertrain, if anything. In 2009 they used a 350 amp controller and a higher speed motor than a stock golf car motor. I believe it was around 5 Horsepower. They also used a 10:1 gear in the differential for a little extra speed. They'd run 25MPH or so stock. I would think that a controller and motor upgrade that would commonly net around 25-26 MPH on a lifted cart with a standard differential and a 23" tire would get you around 30 with your 10:1 differential. The Admiral A4 high torque motor with the Alltrax XCT500 controller and the Admiral A4 high speed map setting in the controller should do the job. I built a lifted six seater limo Precedent a few months back with this combo and was getting 25-26 MPH. You'll need to upgrade all wiring to 2 gauge and upgrade the solenoid as well.
