2005 ds 48v wont go backwards

hello i have a 05 cc ds 48v i am having an issue with the cart going backwards it has a new f/r switch and i replaced the mcor assembly because of a jumping issue i have 48.4 volts on batteries the solenoid clicks and it does operate perfectly in forwards i switched the wires on the f/r switch to see if it would go backwards but still nothing only forward is there anything in the system that will prevent it from going in reverse it is used on a farm and gets in quite a bit of water with all the rain down here in south florida thanks in advanced for any and all advice

Check the micro switches and the cables on the motor.

Check the run tow switchbof you have one. Mine did the same thing and it was backwards.

this particular cart does not have micro switches on the back of the f/r switch it is just a rocker switch and the run/tow switch if i turn it off nothing works

and the cables to the motor look to be in good shape

If the cart only moved when the FNR indicator was on FWD

and

You swapped the 2 outside wires on the FNR

and

Now the cart only moves when the FNR indicator is on REV

The Controller is bad (Field driver not working).

ok that makes sense i have been chasin wires for the past couple days. the cart was working fine then all of a sudden it wouldn't go backwards is that something that would just happen out of no where

That normally happens if something touches the F1 or F2 terminals at the motor and either A1 or A2 terminals.

Do You hear the buzzer sound when the FNR is on Rev?

cart no longer has a buzzer on it i have a controller coming tomorrow and the way it gets driven its possible some kind of debris got on top of the motor

Sergio nailed it with the Buzzer question. If the buzzer turns on, it indicates that the F&R switch is sending the proper signal to the controller to put it in reverse mode. If the controller is "in" reverse, as indicated by the buzzer, but won't go in reverse while working fine in forward, the controller is bad.
