Re: 48v heavy duty solenoids?
David with Revolution set me up with a 400 amp HD solenoid when I upgraded to larger motor & controller. Solenoid has worked great however, I wish the activation "click" wasn't so loud. When I'm easing around quiet trails in the hunting woods early in the morning on a hunt I feel like that sound can be herd miles away. I wish I could muffle it. My buddies Bad Boy Buggy doesn't make a sound when he moves.... he just disappears.

Re: 48v heavy duty solenoids?
I'm not sure if the BBBuggy has solenoids. His is 4x4 with I believe AC motors. I drive it a lot and when you push the go pedal it's as quiet as a mouse. I'm going to get one when my rich uncle gets out of prison

The bigger the solenoid, the bigger the CLICK. lol. mwollerman2001, if you have any trouble connecting those solenoids, please contact me. I'll be more than happy to assist you.

Re: 48v heavy duty solenoids?
Mount it to a piece of rubber. It will serve as an insulator to help absorb some of the shock when it clicks, and build some sort of box around it to help enclose it. The 400 amp solenoids have much larger contactors than standard solenoids. Unfortunately, it's just in their nature to be louder. The SW200 is even louder.
