Default Favorite Volt Meter for 48 V Carts

The guy who sold me my new batteries said I probably should install a voltmeter to keep an eye on my batteries health. He offered to sell me an analog gauge for $59 (saw what looked like the identical meter on Amazon for $5.99), said installed it would be $89. After a quick no-thank you I started looking on line.

What's everyone's favorite here? Digital or analog? What brands, model numbers?

Digital 1,000%
You can keep a good eye on the state of charge at all times!

This one is popular:

Also, it would be a good idea to print this chart and keep it handy:

Kashmir nailed it. And please please dont make the mistake i once did and buy a status indicator type meter. You want to view the actual voltage. Pull the trigger on the one Kashmir pointed out and print the voltage chart to keep in cart. Never let batts go below 50% after sitting for one minute.

Something to consider: I recently added a digital voltmeter works great, but it is hard to see in the daylight. I now have a standard 2 inch analog gauge on order.

I went a step further and put a volt/amp meter made by Blue Seas on mine. Three brightness levels and you can surface mount it or flush mount it so only the screen shows. [My dash already had a hole for an analog guage so I surface mounted it.] Very accurate and splashproof. They also sell just a volt meter.

If it's real sunny and I can't see my blue volt meter, I just take my hand to block the sun and look at the volts...takes about 2 seconds.

Creating a hole for anything other than a round one seems like a pain in the butt to me.
