need help 98ds 48v series w 36volt motor wont go
i am currently working on a 1998 ds 48 volt series cart with a 36v motor when i got it it was a mess past owner installed 2 extra coils and extra wiring i am assuming for more speed.it is now back to original motor turns if jumped after several hours researching on here i have determined that the controller is bad i have access to a curtis 275a model 1204-401 0-5k my problem is this cart is 5k-0 does anyone know if the controller can be reprogrammed or will i have to change the potentionmeter or look for a different controller the owners are on a fixed income so i am trying not to get to crazy.. any input would be appreciated .
