1988 DS troubles
To start off I just want to say I know about a 1 out of 10 about golf carts. I bought this cart for $500 and was told it was a solenoid problem. I replaced all 5 solenoids, put everything back together, put it in reverse and hit the gas. It moved! Then put it forward and it did nothing, back to reverse and nothing. Any ideas what I did wrong or what to look for? Is there a certain way the solenoids need to go in (I vs S)? TIA

Re: 1988 DS troubles
Hello, Welcome to BGW.
I know about as much as you when it comes to solenoid carts and didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last nite, but I'll get you started on troubleshooting. The basics: What is your pack voltage ? Are the batteries too dead to move the cart? Are all you cables sound and connections clean and tight? Do the solenoids click when you step on the pedal? Show us some pictures, I'm amazed at what some of these guys can tell by looking at a picture. We need more info to get you going. Muddog |
