1997 36v CC DS??????
So I just picked up my next project. First off the guy said it was a 2001, but according to the serial number it's a 1997 model. All the batteries in it were 6 volt batts. Thinking this was wrong, I went and purchased some 8 volt batts, but now I'm realizing I think it's a 36 volt system. The charger says 36 volt and the charging plug is a two prong instead of the round plug like a 48volt uses. So my question is did CC build 36 volt systems in 1997? I thought they were all 48 volt. The serial number is A9744-619432. Any help would be great. Hoping I can return the 8 volt batts.

The whole thing baffled me because I had a 1997 CC DS a few years ago and it was a 48v system. The different plug style also threw me for loop. I don't have anything again the 36 volt vs 48 volt (batts are cheaper) but I just didn't realize CC made a 36 volt cart in 1997.

I just found the wiring diagram. It's a 36v cart. I'da never thunk it.

Hahahaha I understand the confusion. I am not a guitar player but rather a bow hunter. I like to bend the strings on archery equipment. Hahahaha
