Speed setting 4 and magnet
I am going Friday to get my speed level 4 on my 2007 precedent 48v. Would the speed magnet help get any more out of my cart or is level four about it? Stock cart stock wheels and tires.

Re: Speed setting 4 and magnet
I would go for the magnet and forget the speed code. The magnet will get you into the low 20s, remove regen braking, and it's cheaper.

Re: Speed setting 4 and magnet
No. Assuming You have an IQ cart:
The speed magnet will get you the most speed but eliminate the Regen brake. The Speed Code 4 will get you a little less speed but retain the Regen brake. Both really would be a waste of money. |

Sergio, why are both a waste of money?
Is there a better way to get more speed for the money ? Muddog Last edited by Muddog; 06-27-2017 at 07:50 PM.. Reason: Forgot to finish sentence |

Re: Speed setting 4 and magnet
I think Sergio means paying for BOTH is a waste of money.
Just do one or the other is what I think he was trying to say... |

Re: Speed setting 4 and magnet
Sergio is correct. If you combine the two, it's a waste. No difference in performance at all in a cart on setting 3 with a magnet, and a cart on setting 4 and a magnet. Same end result, only the guy with his cart set on speed setting 3 didn't spend money on a speed code.

Re: Speed setting 4 and magnet
Are we sure it isn't an Excel cart? What years were the Excel carts produced?
