48v ds go pedal backwards
i have a ds 48v SN#A9740-611807 originally the problem was that it would just stop randomly come back to it in like 20 minutes and it would work fine. i put new batteries in it, new f/r switch, all new cables, it would still randomly stop. i had an extra controller on the shelf put that one on and now the problem is that the go pedal seems to work backwards, if you put the pedal all the way down it goes slow and as you bring the pedal back up it starts to go faster. oh and it will not go backwards most of the time

Re: 48v ds go pedal backwards
The 1997 CC has a 5000-0 throttle signal device and the spare controller you installed has a 0-5000 throttle signal. They are not compatible. I do have one last FSIP 500a 5000-0 controller left,
$265 is $100 below dealer cost. New old stock No warranty implied. |

Re: 48v ds go pedal backwards
Alright thanks i thought it had something to do with the throttle but wasnt sure if something was hooked up wrong or not do you think the shutting down problem would be fixed with a new controller

Re: 48v ds go pedal backwards
The only mandatory upgrade would be to a 200a solenoid.
If the F&R is old and worn then a HD F&R would be needed eventually and 2g cables would insure you are getting all of the 500 amps delivered... |

Re: 48v ds go pedal backwards
ok i put a new controller on it its a curtis 1204m now the throttle works correctly it is the 5k-0 however now it will not go in reverse i put my curtis handheld programmer 1313 on it and it is throwing a throttle fault and nothing else i have tried to change parameters with the handheld and i put it on throttle type 1 which is 2 wire potentiometer 5k-0 input and i put the rev/main driver to setting 0 which according to curtis is the correct setting for my cart but it does nothing in reverse the solenoid clicks but will not move
