Hey radical I think this depends on what you are planning for the cart.
Lights only = 10 Amp
Lights + strereo + GPS + Brakes lights + turn signals ...etc = 20-25 Amp

So I got the reducer/converter today, this is a nice unit, it's completely isolated from weather or the frame and everything electronic including where the wires enter and exit is epoxy coated. It's not as big as the picture would make you think either. And it's rated at 20A at 13.5VDC output.

Would you mind posting a link of the unit you purchased ? Looking for one here, if someone has a Canadian link, that would be appreciated.

CheapJeep2,

Can you provide link for where the voltage reducers can be purchased? Also, how much do they cost? Thanks very much.
