Default Battery Charging

I am new to electric carting and I'm wondering is there a preferred method or time frame one should use to charge their batteries.
I don't yet have an owners manual I guess that would be covered?
Anyway, I would rather hear real world solutions.
Cart is 96 model DS

Thanks Guys....................BuddyGo.

Hey BuddyGo just be aware the Battery manual is for a 36Volt system if you have a 48
Volt system it will differ slightly :)

Welcome to the Forum !

Doesn't really matter what brand of cart, batteries, or voltage as flooded lead acid battery care is the same. You want to keep them at 100% State of Charge as much as physically possible. That means charging them after any use. Do not discharge them more than 50%, and better yet buy a good 3-stage charger that keeps them on a constant charge 24 x 7 x 365.
