Re: club car jerks when moving forward
Good news, whether going forward or reverse, you are using the same solenoids and drive system... What year cart? If unknown post the serial #.

Re: club car jerks when moving forward
Check the battery voltage. The jerking is a symtom of a bad battery. Almost feels like the wheels are spinning? Best to use a hydrometer on each cell.

Re: club car jerks when moving forward
Cart is a 1988 . thinking about what nelly said and realized this a is a 1/2 power reverse cart...so if it is a bad battery it could be one of the 3 on Passenger side that are not used in reverse and that is why it is smooth in reverse?
Can you verify that this is a resistor coil and V-glide cart? |

Re: club car jerks when moving forward
Maybe you still have a bad solenoid. It is very easy to check. Take the car for a ride with your foot slightly on the brake. Slowly press the accelerator, while holding the brake with some pressure. Car will accelerate on clicks 2 thru 5, if it doesn't, then that is your bad soleniod, it would only take you about a minute to figure it out.
