Default 2000 DS 48v

Hello everyone,

Its been 5 years since Ive been here. Give you guys a quick update. I'm now a welding instructor at a high school and came to the realization that I needed a cart for my programs after school activities.

Recently, I acquired a 2000 DS 48v cart. Its got brand new batteries and a ton of new cables. The issue is that it doesn't move. I watched a youtube video and went to test for power at the F & R switch & last NEG. That's where I saw what I believe to be the issue. The switch moves to the Forward position way further than it should and the reverse doesn't move to the right like it should.

However, the previous owner stated the wires were replaced and might be in the wrong order. So, here are a few questions,

1) Does anyone have a F & R switch they might be willing to donate to my program? I can provide a tax certificate to compensate for dollar amount.
2) I don't have a 48 volt test light, since I am using a voltmeter, what voltages am I looking for though out the video? (posted below)
3) Does any one have a complete wiring diagram of this cart? I would like to make sure all the wires are in the correct spots.

Appreciate all the help.

Bryan

Thumbs up Re: 2000 DS 48v

Bryan, Please call David Hicks (TahoeDawg71) at Revolution Golf Cars 706-836-7210. Share this with him and let him guide you correctly so you do not waste your time or throw good money after bad.

If it is just the switch, he has my number and tell him I have offered to pay for it. He will give me a call or text me. The Youth are our future and I support them and your goal 100%.
