I don't have any experience with the Madjax, but I do with the Alltrax. Alltrax is the top dog (by far) in the aftermarket controller world. They also have on the fly control.

I have the Madjax 600 on my precedent with admiral torque motor ...has been a good combo do far. when I bought mine ,Alltrax did not have the on the fly option at that time ...the price has come way down on the madjax 600 since I purchased mine but have been very happy with this set up. I don't think you could go wrong with the Alltrax though , not sure on the price difference between the two.

I have done three of them. The carts I did with them each run up to 35mph with a speed motor. The system is very reliable and easy to install. The controls are made by Navitas. Madjax was bought by Nivel a while back and the madjax branded version is going away as Nivel seems to prefer the green Navitas labeled version. The cost is roughly the same.
Alltrax was a little behind the 8 ball on that when it came out, though they did catch up. I've not used the Alltrax version as of yet.
