Yes. If your batteries are older than his (generally weaker) or your voltage is less than his, you will have less. The best way to see is ALWAYS start out with a fully charged pack and then watch your volt meter (or hook a DVM up and lay it on your seat) and check it as you're riding along and see how bad it is on the incline.

Ok thanks I'll look into the batteries first, I do know I have 2 that are a little bulged. Thanks again everyone.
