Default Cart dies out, then goes again

Got the wife a 2002 Club Car DS 48V IQ regen. I charged it fully and after about five miles of driving it started to slow down and then stopped. Pressing pedal did nothing. I toggled the run/tow switch and sat a minute. Pressed the pedal and it took off as if nothing happened. Got back to the shop and checked voltage. it was at 51.3V.

So, doesn't seem to be the batteries. All cables looked good. Controller issue maybe?

Does the solenoid click when you try to go? Does the reverse buzzer work when the cart is in failed status?

I don't recall either of those things happening. I've charged it up again and will take it for another run today. If it dies out I can check for the buzzer and the solenoid click.

The solenoid clicks. As I press the accelerator harder, I get all the normal click click click click all the way to the floor and back. Sounds normal (or at least it sounds the same way it does when it goes) but it doesn't go. Let it rest for a few minutes and it goes again for a bit. Then dead again.

….there's a reverse buzzer? MAYBE I remember that from when my dad drove it in 1993.... Doesn't seem to have one now. Where would it be?

THANK YOU!

outbackrob, that previous comment was about an IQ cart with an OBC since that is the cart on this thread.

I replied on your other thread.

Like Sergio mentioned, I was referring to an IQ cart. It sounds like you have a 5 solenoid resistor cart. The reverse buzzer is irrelevant to testing of this system. Sounds like Sergio has got you handled though.
