Default AllTrax XCT test torque curve

What is the impact to the motor, controller or batteries running a torque curve like this?

Why would you want to compromise the torque output at low RPM and potentially put your motor in a stalled condition?

Thanks. I had always wondered why the torque curves ramped up almost immediately.

Mines set like that. I love it, but won't let kids or inexperienced folks drive it. It slams you back on takeoff in f or r, but it gets the tires spinning, which is what's needed in my hunting cart application

I think you are confusing throttle position with throttle rate. From your Alltrax Toolkit Manual:

Throttle Rate
The throttle rate is your basic control over throttle response, if you want a more aggressive pedal push you would go up in percentage, if you want a more gradual increase in speed and throttle control then you would decrease the percentage.
