Default 89 CC DS Solid State Conversion Build Problem

89 CC DS Project.

My first post... I've read and I've tried to do as much homework here as possible. Thanks for such a great forum with tons of info. Very helpful and very hard on the wallet.

I'm sure like most projects, it didn't start out that way. I was given the cart from my father-in-law. So, after talking to the kids and getting them all fired up... we made the trip to pick up our new cart. My expectations weren't very high and needless to say the cart was pretty unimpressive. But... with a little wash, some air in the tires, and a few decent batteries... we were tearing up the neighborhood at about 6-8 mph. The list of maintenance and repairs started to grow as I spent more time with the cart. We needed brakes and every bushing and bearing replaced ASAP. That's when it happened. I started tearing things down with the intentions of just doing a couple of things here and there as time permitted.

This was right about the time I was asked to join a new deer lease.
I realized I needed a new hunting buggy!
I proceeded to email and call some vendors to get parts coming.

-Took the frame to my buddy's powder coating shop.
-Hauled my newly acquired body and roof to a friend who does sprayed vinyl coatings. I asked for brown and ended up with a "copperish" color. So the kids named her (the cart) Penny. I didn't pay much so I couldn't complain. It's growing on me.

-ScottyB sent out a complete conversion kit
-Dave at Revolution sent some parts as well to help get things on track

Future plans....
-Spartan body
-Newer style OEM top or aftermarket black top
-music. Bluetooth??

It's been a long road to get it to this point, and I still have plenty to do.
I'm just now getting the cart moving and I'm having an issue with the forward/reverse. It seems as if it's not getting full power in forward. Reverse is a son of a gun...plenty of power.
I originally had the "1/2 speed" wire hooked up to the controller at the blue terminal. I disconnected it and it doesn't seem much better in forward, if any.
I do have the FN1 speed dial but it isn't hooked up.
I'm beating myself up because I've read about these same symptoms and I can't remember the fix or find those threads for the life of me.

Also... when I switch the cart in forward or reverse... I get 3 LED flashes on the controller. I've yet to see a solid green. It continues to flash 3 green flashes.
Is that indicating the correct input for the ScottyB pedal?

I haven't had a chance to look at the Alltrax tool kit or software. I'm hoping my issue is an easy fix. I've labeled one of the pics of the contactor. I hope I have it correct.

I lost some of the images of the build with a damaged phone. Sorry
Looks like I need some advice on sizing images as well.

Side note... I've got a ton of original parts if anyone is interested.

Thanks!
I am pleased with how things are turning out.

I just need to get the forward/reverse power issue sorted out.

Nobody1,
I agree, great build you have going on. I like the color too.

Your wiring and wire looms are among the neatest ones I have seen yet, great job.

Sorry I can't answer your question, I am doing a similar build, but I am not as far along as you are.
