2007 club car precedent no negative input !

So I have a 2007 club car precedent 48 volt and i need some help, the cart recently just stopped working and I have narrowed it down I think to having no negative input to solenoid and was wondering what would be the next thing I should be checking or replacing ? I was thinking the obc could be the problem any thoughts would be very helpful!

The cart has good batteries running at 51 volts and when I press the go pedal the solenoid is not clicking, so I checked if voltage is getting to solenoid when pressing go pedal and it has no power! So I tested small positive and negative leads on solenoid and showed there is no negative !

get a wiring diagram and a multi meter and start probing starting where you lost continuity and following the diagram until you find continuity.

Your negative comes from your controller. You may have a problem there.

The OBC does have a lockout built in via the controller to disable the solenoid/contactor while you are plugged in.

Thanks guys I ordered a service manual today so I'll read through that and hopefully the wiring diagram is in there !

Grab a multimeter and call 706-836-7210. We will figure this out.

Well I have checked almost everything by going thru the test procedures in service manual and I can't seem to figure it out so I ordered a used obc off eBay which should be here next week!
I get 20 volts to solenoid on small terminals but it won't click so I hot wired to solenoid and then it does work and click and I tested solenoid off the club car and all seems good! So I'm a little stumped I even tried another controller off my other cart and still nothing ! Mcor is working properly, key switch, forward reverse switch and tow/run switch all checked out good !

I told you, a 5 minute phone call with a multimeter and a few jumper wires and you could save a lot of money and a headache. If the OBC doesn't work, please call me. That's why we are here, to help people.

Sounds good is there a good time to get a hold of you I'm in British Columbia Canada so might be a different time zone
