Default Club car moves w/o engaging pedal

Weird issue, last night I came to a stop and the cart was moving very slow at around 1 mph or less. I switched it to Reverse, same thing. It stopped after a few minutes. Then when I got home, it was doing it again. I can hear the electric motor running when engaged in F or R. What can be the issue? I have a new controller, solenoid and F&R HD switch on its way.

Yep, check the accelerator. Does this cart have a v-glide, or pot box?

Ok. I've never worked with one, but make sure the wiper arm is returning all the way to the 'rest' position.
