axe4865 650a, programable 24-48v. It is already set up for 5k-0. I think my stock controller is a curtis 1204?

Wariddle, Take a good close look at your resistors (the curly wires)
and make sure they are not touching together, or broken, and that
they are fastened down really good. These takes the heat away
from the system. If the resistors are not in good condition you will
burn your V-Glide every time.

From what I have read on here this controller should give me lots more torque than stock, not necessarily more speed without a voltage or moter upgrade. Is this correct?
